Cam Newton
Kaepernick stole Cam’s Superman pose last time these teams faced off against each other but Kaep’s new contract will give Newton plenty of ammunition when he begins to negotiate for a new deal. Cam’s contract runs through the 2015 season but it’s unlikely that the Panthers will want to risk letting their franchise quarterback walk and it may be wise for Cam to strike while the iron’s hot (and before Carolina realizes that they have no proven receivers outside of Jericho Cotchery and Jason Avant for Cam to throw the ball to). Cam can match Kaepernick stride for stride and he’s got the better arm of the two. He will get paid for it.
