Payton had the Seahawks logo painted on the Saints practice fields “trying to create the exact environment” #NOvsSEA pic.twitter.com/BPw75vFg3O

Coaches in all leagues can be a bit quirky when it comes to preparation, but rightfully so when they’re trying to re-create the exact conditions for an upcoming away game — whether it’s practicing outside to prepare for a cold weather game, or soaking footballs in water to prepare for rain. However, Sean Payton may have gotten a tad carried away this week, as he actually had the Seattle Seahawks logo painted on the Saints’ practice field in New Orleans. This just seems like a waste of time for the New Orleans Saints grounds crew, especially considering that the paint on the CenturyLink Field turf isn’t what gives teams trouble.
