NFL quarterback Russell Wilson will always be linked with the Seattle Seahawks. No matter how good or bad he plays this season with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Recently, Wilson took to Twitter, the social media platform currently marketed as X, to showcase a throwback Seahawks jersey sent by his former franchise:
Forever Grateful. @Seahawks pic.twitter.com/Jdnu2pmN3m

“Seahawks, I’m super, super grateful for you guys sending me this,” Wilson said in the video.
Obviously, there are a lot of amazing memories there, and so you guys sending me this means the world to me. I’m forever grateful.”
Wilson was known as a proponent of wearing throwback jerseys but never got a chance. Before leaving the franchise, he led to their only Super Bowl.
The post sparked an interesting discussion among NFL fans.
“Russell Wilson, in my humble opinion, in the best (or most important) player in Seahawks history. The QB of your Super Bowl team, the ONE Super Bowl,” one user tweeted.
Not all Steelers fans loved what they saw, either.
“We’ve got our quarterback posting gifts from his former team. This is gonna be great!” one Steelers fan sarcastically predicted.
“Russell Wilson will be a Seahawk next year,” one Seahawks fan boldly predicted.
Only time will tell how Wilson performs in his first season with the Steelers.
