On Monday, the NFL Combine took the one timed measurement that really mattered – Rich Eisen’s annual 40 yard dash time.
As is customary since he began his yearly participation in the 40 yard dash in 2005, Eisen ran in his work suit and football cleats.
Unfortunately, Eisen ran the forty in 6.10 seconds which ended up being his worst time since 2011, when he secured a time of 6.18 seconds. The result is a little surprising given that Eisen earned his best forty time (5.98 seconds) just last year.
Somewhere, Roger Goodell is content in knowing that he can run a faster forty than Rich Eisen.
The good news is that St Jude’s Children’s Hospital will be getting $75,000 as a part of the #RunRichRun campaign that the NFL Network helped spur this year. In the end, everyone wins.
