Eagles 24- Cardinals 21
Nick Foles is thankful to be mentioned in the same breath as Peyton Manning, as he tied Manning’s record of 20 touchdown passes without an interception to start the season. Chip Kelly is thankful that Michael Vick is on the injury report more than the PETA website.
Panthers 27- Buccaneers 6
Cam Newton and the Panthers are most thankful for their eighth win in a row, making nine on the season. Even though the Auburn Tigers pulled off an incredible win and Auburn would have been an amazing place to be on Saturday, Newton is still thankful to be playing on Sundays. Because he gets paaaaaaaaid.
Patriots 34- Texans 31
The Texans were thankful to have Gary Kubiak back on the sidelines after recovering from a mini-stroke last month. The Patriots are thankful to have Rob Gronkowski back to his old self after missing most of the season due to injuries. After a ten game losing streak, the Texans are thankful to play the Jaguars next Thursday night, while everyone who does not pay for the NFL Network and Thursday Night Football is thankful that there still won’t be a Thursday night game worth watching.
Falcons 34- Bills 31 (OT)
The Falcons were just thankful to get a win this week. The Bills were thankful to play their annual game in Toronto without any Mayoral crack incidents. Canadians we thankful that they do not celebrate Thanksgiving in November so this disappointing match up did not ruin a perfectly good holiday.
49ers 23- Rams 13
In a win over the Rams, Colin Kaepernick was thankful to get Michael Crabtree back on the field for the first time this season. Kaepernick was also thankful to find out that Crabtree’s absence was not because he had stolen Kaepernick’s Mighty Wings.
Broncos 35 –Chiefs 28
After catching eight passes for 174 yards and four touchdowns, Eric Decker is thankful to get the chance to play with Peyton Manning. The Chiefs are just thankful that it is usually difficult to beat a team three times.
Bengals 17- Chargers 10
Andy Dalton is thankful for A.J. Green.
Giants 24- Redskins 17
Giants fans were thankful for the four sacks Justin Tuck recorded in Sunday’s win over the Redskins. Giants fans are also thankful that apparently you can’t judge a season by an 0-6 start.
