A spokesperson for the Medical Center of Aurora has reported that Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning took the time to speak one on one with several victims of the AMC Theater shooting that left 12 dead and 58 injured.
The shooting took place during a midnight screening of “The Dark Knight Rises”. Suspect James Holmes, clad in ballistic gear, entered the theater and began firing at will. He gave himself up to authorities soon after and is expected to be in court on Monday.
Peyton Manning showed a lot of class by doing this. As a die hard Broncos fan I couldn’t be happier to read this news. My thoughts and prayers go out to all the victims of this tragedy.
On a side note, I would like Mr. Manning to know that winning the Super Bowl would REALLY lift their spirits.
