The New England Patriots unveiled a new logo on Wednesday…well, kind of. It’s only really a change in font, but you can see the change for yourself above:
Some details, via:
The team unveiled a new logo Wednesday, one with big, blocky blue letters that replaces the white, cursive script of the old one. The “Flying Elvis” emblem also changed, going from the top of the “P” on the old logo to under the “RI” on the new logo.According to NFL.com, the logo change won’t be seen on the team’s helmet.
Not sure if this was planned for a while or the team decided they needed a slight change after the tumultuous offseason they’ve been having this year.
