Michael Sam was asked about his reaction to a Monday Tampa Tribune piece that included a quote from Tony Dungy where Dungy stated that he wouldn’t have taken Sam in the NFL Draft due to fear of Sam’s sexuality being a media “distraction.”
Sam was able to shrug it off and he disarmed the issue well.
