Fans have been unable to purchase Marvin Harrison Jr. jerseys ever since the superstar wide receiver was selected with the No. 4 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft by the Arizona Cardinals. And it sounds like fans are going to have to keep waiting even longer.
According to a report from NFL insider Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, Marvin Harrison Jr. is still refusing to allow Fanatics, the NFL, or the Arizona Cardinals to sell his jersey.
“An update: The NFLPA has advised the NFL, the #AZCardinals and Fanatics that they are not still permitted to sell Marvin Harrison Jr. jerseys based on the wishes of his representatives, sources say. And so, fans wait,” Rapoport said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.

This news comes after Harrison initially chose not to sign his NFLPA licensing agreement due to a contract dispute with Fanatics. While the contract dispute was not resolved, the licensing language was included as part of his rookie deal with the Arizona Cardinals which he signed last month. But it seems that he is still withholding his jersey rights.
The intrigue continues.
All players should be available to be in pro jersey cards and have autographs for multiple card companies.
Anything less is anti-consumer. https://t.co/o29Xj9M9Nn

Players have to agree to this? That surprises me. Figure the NFL would control that via their contract. https://t.co/1SHgUTFBYF

Needless to say, this is pretty terrible news for anyone who was looking to support Harrison with a jersey, and it’s led to a lot of reactions on social media.
We’ll have to see whether or not this issue can be resolved by the start of the season.
