The Las Vegas Raiders are widely expected to select a quarterback in the upcoming NFL Draft, and it sounds like they’re meeting with a couple of the players this week who they could select in the first round of the draft.
According to a report from NFL insider Albert Breer of SI.com on Thursday, the Las Vegas Raiders decided to bring in both Washington Huskies quarterback Michael Penix Jr. as well as Oregon Ducks quarterback Bo Nix.
“The Raiders are having QBs roll through town this week — Washington’s Michael Penix is in for a 30 visit today, and Oregon’s Bo Nix has his 30 visit in Las Vegas tomorrow, per sources,” Breer said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.

The Raiders currently hold the No. 13 overall pick in the NFL Draft. While it’s unlikely they will be able to select one of the top four quarterbacks without trading up as Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels and Drake Maye are all expected to be selected with the first three picks in the draft with J.J. McCarthy shortly after.
However, Nix and Penix will likely be available for the Raiders, and it looks like they are bringing both of them in to see who they prefer.
