There are plenty of big-time college stars that will hear their name called in the first round of tonight’s NFL Draft in New York City, though perhaps none bigger than Johnny Manziel. The Texas A&M quarterback and former Heisman Winner is the subject of a new Nike draft day photo ad that touches on the crazy hype, scouting and analysis that leads up to the NFL Draft. Unfortunately, the ad does not include Johnny Manziel’s former flame Lauren Hanley.
The first line of the ad reads “There are no sure things in the NFL Draft” which, while true, is pretty ironic considering Nike already inked Manziel to a multi-year deal worth (presumably) huge bucks before his name was even called at Radio City.
