Haason Reddick has a new home.

On Monday, the Philadelphia Eagles announced that they have traded the 29-year-old linebacker, who has earned Pro Bowl appearances in each of the past two seasons, to the New York Jets.

Taking to social media, Reddick revealed that when it comes to him being traded to the Jets, there are no hard feelings. In a lengthy post, the 2022 second-team All-Pro expressed nothing but gratitude for his two-season stint with the Eagles.

“Philadelphia, saying ‘thank you’ is not enough to express my gratitude for the love and support you showed me in my time as an Eagle,” Reddick wrote. “Bird Gang, it was an honor to play for you, as your love for the game and your city is a feat to behold.”

As for his new team, Reddick wrote: “New York and #GangGreen, I’m excited for the next step in this journey. I cannot wait to get to work!”

Appearing in 34 regular-season games over the course of his two seasons in Philadelphia, the Temple product recorded 27 sacks, including a career-high 16 in 2022. In heading to New York, he’ll join a Jets defense considered by many to be one of the best in the NFL.
