The Foxborough Country Club is unsurprisingly sympathetic to Tom Brady in the whole Deflategate mess and the establishment found a creative way to show solidarity with their favorite quarterback.
Every pin flag on the course’s 18 holes has been changed to one that sports No. 12.
Sure, that may be a tad inconvenient for anyone who has trouble keeping track of their scorecard but it’s a small price to pay for justice.
“We feel that this is a miscarriage of justice, way too much penalty for not enough crime, and we wanted to show our support for our hometown team,” said Club Manager Matt Killilea.
The idea was reportedly hatched by several club members over a game of golf. The pro-Brady flags have been flying on the course since Monday. Brady is currently awaiting the results of his appeal to his four-game suspension for his alleged role in Deflategate.
Whatever the outcome of the appeal, it sure doesn’t seem like Brady is losing any support in the New England area.
