Bethel Johnson hasn’t played in the NFL since 2006. The speedy wideout was drafted in the second round by the Patriots back in 2003 and won two rings in New England before being traded after the 2005 season.
He was primarily a special teams player – only catching 30 passes in three seasons as a Patriot – but that didn’t stop Johnson from taking to Twitter to confirm what we all were thinking after the Pats were beaten handily by the Broncos in the AFC Championship on Sunday:
Anybody who has followed the Patriots over the last decade or so knows that everything fell apart after Bethel left…
