The Redskins’ Dashaun Phillips was involved in a very scary moment on Sunday when he took a helmet to helmet hit from Cowboys running back Darren McFadden. McFadden lowered his head as he approached Phillips and it was Phillips who endured the worst of the unintentional helmet to helmet. Phillips immediately went down and had to be stabilized and carted off the field.
Usually when this happens you can hear a pin drop in the stadium, but not in Dallas apparently. Check out the video of a group of Cowboys (and some ‘Skins) fans proceeding to do the wave as Phillips was still being tended to. It is safe to say that this was inappropriate, at best.
