Last night, Odell Beckham Jr. caught what will likely be the catch of the year (unless Calvin Johnson somehow throws a Hail Mary to himself or something).
Lost in the hoopla was the guy who made the throw in the first place. After all, Odell’s catch was slightly reminiscent of another improbable Eli Manning completion – the David Tyree Super Bowl “helmet catch.”
With two instantly memorable completions under his belt, Manning let people in on his secret to manufacturing insane highlights like the one last night:
Eli on throwing the passes to Tyree and Beckham: "I guess you’ve got to throw it just bad enough where they’ve got to make a great catch."

Poor Eli. I don’t think there’s a more “Manning-face” quote than that one.
