The stars were out in Miami, Florida, for the UFC 299 pay-per-view event on Saturday night. That included former United States President Donald Trump and a number of current and former NFL players

Among the NFL players to attend the pay-per-view was Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku. Taking to Instagram on Sunday, the 2023 Pro Bowl selection shared a series of pictures from the show, including one showing him and his brother, former UCLA wide receiver Charles Njoku, posing alongside Trump.

Njoku wasn’t the only current NFL star to be pictured alongside Trump, who is expected to be the Republican nominee for president in the 2024 election against current President and presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden, who defeated him in the 2020 election. In addition to Njoku, Trump was spotted chatting with San Francisco 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa and Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow.

While not explicitly stated, many took Njoku’s social media post to be a sign of support for the polarizing former president. As one might imagine, the reaction to the post was vast, with supporters of Trump praising the picture and detractors expressing disappointment with the former Miami Hurricanes tight end for posing with the 45th president at the UFC show.
