Former NFL All-Pro wide receiver Antonio Brown has been one of the most controversial figures in the league ever since his abrupt retirement from the NFL during the middle of a game in 2021. And he’s now wading into controversy again by offering a political endorsement to Donald Trump.

During a recent interview with OutKick, Antonio Brown decided to endorse Donald Trump in the upcoming presidential election against Joe Biden, saying that Trump comes from “a good family and has been a good president.”

“Yeah, I’ll endorse Trump,” Brown told Outkick. “I’ve never met him. I’ve got admiration for his business moves and I study his dad Fred Trump. But, I think Donald Trump is a good businessman and come[s] from a good family and has been a good president.”

Trump would generally take all the public support he can get, but even he might be a little reluctant to accept an endorsement from Brown, who has been the subject of many unsavory headlines over the past several months.

To name a few of his very public misdeeds, Brown exposed himself to a woman in a public pool in 2022, allegedly defrauded a jewelry store the same year, and has been accused of failing to pay a large amount of child support in addition to leaking an intimate video of the mother of some of his children.

Needless to say, Trump might not want to publicize this endorsement.
