The Las Vegas Raiders have a decision to make regarding their starting quarterback this upcoming season as veteran Gardner Minshew is competing with second-year quarterback Aidan O’Connell for the position. But star wide receiver Davante Adams does not sound all that worried about the decision.
During a recent press conference, Davante Adams offered his reaction to the decision the Las Vegas Raiders are facing at quarterback as he indicated that both Gardner Minshew and Aidan O’Connell have been impressing him in practice.
“I mean, they both balled out,” Adams said according to Paul Gutierrez of ESPN. “They both did their thing and Gardner came in and picked up where Aidan left off. You can see we’ve got two quarterbacks that are not necessarily the same . . . the O-line was doing a good job keeping both of those guys clean, as much as possible. I’ve seen a lot of good so, hopefully, we keep doing that and it’s going to make it hard on [head coach Antonio Pierce] to figure out. But I’m praying for nothing but success for both of them.”
Obviously, only one of them can ultimately earn the starting job, but it sounds like Adams will happily catch passes from either of them.
