Las Vegas Raiders star wide receiver Davante Adams has been the subject of trade rumors, particularly when it came to a potential reunion with Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets. However, Adams recently cleared the air on the speculation, making it clear that he is focused on being a Raider.
During a guest appearance on the Club Shay Shay podcast with ESPN personality Shannon Sharpe, Adams said that if he were forced to leave the Raiders, he would want to reunite with Rodgers someday. But that doesn’t mean he wants to leave Las Vegas anytime soon.
“If I’m going to be reunited with anybody, it would be Aaron (Rodgers),” said Adams. “Or be relocated and be anywhere, it would be with Aaron. But there was a lot of that stuff going on with the media. They talk about whatever without me even being involved in it. It ended up getting in the locker room and people thought I was the driving force.
“I’m not the type of person who wants to put that stuff out there. I’m actively on the Raiders. That’s how I still feel about it right now. I’m locked in with the Raiders, and I feel really good about this team. As far as I know, they feel good about me.”

Adams went on to admit that the thought of playing with Rodgers again is “amazing”. But for now, he is fully committed to the Raiders.
If you are a fan of the Raiders, you have to be quite happy about these comments from Adams. Particularly because the struggles that the Raiders have had in recent years are quite pronounced.
But still, it is at least a bit intriguing that Adams is open to playing with Rodgers again one day, wherever that may be…
