Daniel Herron’s nickname is “Boom”. This play shows why that’s the case.
The Colts are splitting the rushing attempts between the relatively unknown Herron and increasingly-looking-like-a-bust Trent Richardson. Let’s just say that Herron is making the most of his opportunities against Washington. This 49 yard touchdown run displays a burst and straight-line speed that Richardson sorely lacks (especially when he can’t help but dance between tackles).
Not bad for Herron’s first career touchdown.
SPEED!!! Daniel Herron 49 yards to the HOUSE for his first career touchdown. Colts now lead 14-3 over Washington.
