After losing quarterback Sam Bradford to a season-ending knee injury on Sunday, the Rams have contacted 44-year-old Brett Favre to try to convince him to come out of retirement. Why? Because it’s another NFL season, of course. Favre wasn’t the least bit interested it seems, but one has to wonder what life would be like if Brett were still in the league at this age. The media circus would be a mess for one, and personally I can’t handle anymore tears.
You can’t blame Favre for not wanting to go to a team that has no shot at a title, but if a contender calls, maybe we’ll see some magic. Or the Jets.
