Pat McAfee is using humor to try and woo some great football talent to Indianapolis.
The Colts punter recently posted some “recruitment” overtures to Andre Johnson and Ndamukong Suh on Twitter. Both were pretty amazing.
His pitch to Suh? The weather. Suspiciously, the weather that McAfee claims to have in Indianapolis is much more tropical than one would expect in the Midwest.

And as for Johnson, McAfee proudly showcased the size of Indianpolis’ cinnamon rolls (and his Photoshop skills) to convince Johnson to seek a trade to the Colts.
.@johnson80 Happy Tuesday boss… Love everything you do on and off the field.. BTW We have HUGE rolls here in Indy pic.twitter.com/F99zHmI8P4

You would think that merely posting a picture contrasting Andrew Luck with Houston’s situation of sadness at the quarterback position would have been a much more effective recruitment strategy.
