Christian Ponder and ESPN’s Samantha Steele Are Engaged

Spoke to ESPN’s @samantha_steele today. She confirms she is engaged to @vikingsfootball quarterback Christian Ponder.

Sports Illustrated’s Richard Deitsch confirmed on Tuesday that ESPN reporter Samantha Steele and Minnesota Vikings quarterback Christian Ponder are officially engaged to be married.

After some speculation, Ponder confirmed (and boasted) that he was dating Steele back in October of this year. It appears the relationship has escalated pretty quickly, but I think I speak for all of the male population when I congratulate Ponder. The Vikings might not be so great but at least he’s locked up a winner off the field.
