The Cincinnati Bengals are within arm’s reach of a playoff berth despite a frustrating season that has seen them underperform expectations across the board. While the Bengals will need outside help on Sunday, their first step to reaching the playoffs starts with defeating the Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday night.
Unfortunately for the Bengals, it’s looking as if they’ll be without one of the most important pieces to their offense, according to one prominent NFL insider.
“Bengals are listing RB Chase Brown as questionable for Saturday’s game vs. the Steelers due to his sprained ankle,” reported ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Thursday.

Fans reacted to the news on social media.
“Probably won’t matter much. I doubt they make the playoffs even if they win,” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“Hopefully he can go. Huge part of the offense and is a must win game,” another fan added.
“That he sustained for no reason if they weren’t going to run the clock down,” one fan added.
“Hard to expect much from Brown only 1 week off a high ankle sprain Minimal practice + limited mobility + elevated reinjury risk,” added someone else.
It’ll be interesting to see how the Bengals can adapt if Brown is unable to go.
