Throughout his time in the NFL, former Pittsburgh Steelers superstar wide receiver Antonio Brown earned nearly $90 million through paychecks alone. But it sounds like he is now nearly broke.

According to a report from the Times Union, Antonio Brown filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy as he owes nearly $3 million to at least eight different creditors while claiming assets of less than $50,000.

“According to documents filed Monday in federal bankruptcy court in Florida, Brown owes nearly $3 million to at least eight creditors. They include a Florida truck driver who was reportedly assaulted by Brown and was awarded $1.2 million after Brown failed to appear in court for a lawsuit the truck driver filed against him. According to the documents, Brown also cannot pay at least three six-figure civil judgments,” the Times Union reported this week,

Obviously, this is horrible news for Brown, and it led to a lot of reactions on social media as a result.

Brown has been the subject of many unflattering headlines since retiring from the NFL after he exposed himself to a woman in a public pool in 2022, allegedly defrauded a jewelry store the same year, and has been accused of failing to pay a large amount of child support, to name a few of his misdeeds.

And it sounds like it has all cost him.
