Aaron Rodgers Syndication: The Record

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers has never shied away from making his opinions known. He’s created headlines throughout his career with his off-the-field comments, and he’s never been scared to speak on politics.

Recently, Rodgers appeared on the famous Pardon My Take podcast, in which he broached the golf spat between Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump and President Joe Biden.

Biden claimed he would play Trump any time on the links if Trump carried his own bags.

Those comments didn’t sit well with Rodgers.

“’You gotta carry your own bag,’” Rodgers remembered Biden telling Trump. “This is a guy who couldn’t even walk off the stage. He couldn’t even walk off the stage, but, ‘Yeah, you gotta carry your own bag, Trump.’”

Biden, for his part, will certainly have more time going forward to face Trump in a golf match… whatever the stipulations may be.

Earlier this week, Biden quit the presidential race, and the Democratic Party quickly coalesced around his Vice President, Kamala Harris, as the party’s standard bearer going into next month’s convention in Chicago.

Trump, for his part, has claimed that he would donate $1 million to charity if Biden were able to beat him in a standalone golf test.
