West Virginia is got roughed up in more ways than one in the Liberty Bowl on Monday. In the first half, a Texas A&M student assistant landed some cheap head shots on a couple Mountaineers players. The carnage didn’t end there, as kicker Josh Lambert got whacked in the nuts by an A&M defender attempting to block a field goal. The good news is that Lambert made the field goal. The bad news is West Virginia is — at the time of this post — trailing A&M 45-37 with only a couple minutes left in the game.
