The Indiana Hoosiers men’s basketball team is taking some serious heat these days. Tom Crean’s team has made national headlines numerous times over the last 10-plus months after a series of arrests, suspensions and failed drug tests. As a result, his program is being highly criticized by fans, media and others that have apparently never made a mistake in their lives, especially as college students.
One individual has had enough of the criticism and unleashed a heavy duty profanity-laced rant on Instagram. That person was the mother of suspended forward Troy Williams, who reportedly failed a drug test this fall. While her reaction is certainly understandable given the barrage of unforgiving shots, it is likely the wrong way to quiet critics.
