Spike Albrecht had never scored more than 7 points in any NCAA game until the National Title game when his Wolverines lost to Louisville 82-76. Spike was on fire for the first half and ended up with a career-high 17 points which was also well beyond his season average of 1.8 points a game. Spike also noticed that Kate Upton had attended the game and decided that while he was personally on a roll he would Tweet at the two-time Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover girl.
