It’s been a rough week for Rick Pitino.
The basketball coach was axed from Louisville after FBI investigators discovered his ties to alleged fraud and corruption charges. Pitino is no stranger to controversy, so the latest news was massive, yet unsurprising.
When probed about his (pending) dismissal, Pitino, completely unaware of irony, told reporters that they should leave Louisville property, as he himself does the same.
Rick, don’t hate on the reporters for doing their jobs. You are involved in a massive scandal and need to answer for the allegations thwarted your way. Meanwhile, since you have been shit-canned, you’ve got no right to tell anyone to get off Louisville property, when you don’t belong there either.
What a mess. It’s a good bet this is Pitino’s last chance behind the bench.
