It appears that some Ohio State fans took a slight detour on their way from Columbus to New Orleans for the Sugar Bowl.
In the dead of night, several Buckeye followers toured Alabama and made good use of the statues of Bear Bryant and Nick Saban to show their support for their team. Hijinx included dressing up Saban as the world’s largest Buckeye supporter and using Bryant as the “I” in “Ohio”.

Unfortunately for Alabama, the detour from Alabama to Ohio before heading to New Orleans results in a much longer trip so the chances of there being some payback before tomorrow’s bowl game are slim. They’ll just have to settle with being the favorites to beat Ohio State in the Sugar Bowl this year.
