It has been a long five years, but they have now come to a close. Jacksonville State basketball player Norbertas Giga came over to the United States to play basketball in 2013, and since then, he hasn’t been back to see his mother.
That all changed when his coaches worked to get his mother over stateside and plan a big surprise for Giga. The reaction and happiness on both of their faces is amazing. The coaches are pretty happy with themselves as well.
Norbertas Giga, who left Lithuania to come to the U.S. to play college basketball, thought he was going to be watching film with his coaches.

They don’t do a half bad job concealing the reason why they’re videotaping either. The assistant coach plays it off that they want to document everything, even the film room.
A beautiful moment and one that Giga won’t forget for a long, long time.
