It could be the facilities, the program prestige, the conference prestige, the campus environment, the fan base, the shot at national title or even the chance to play right away… All have been common reasons for recruits to choose one university over another.
LB commit Cassanova McKinzy’s reason for choosing Auburn, however, didn’t fall into any of those categories. McKinzy said a deciding factor for him was the fact that Chick-fil-A was on Auburn’s campus, and was “like 15 minutes away from Clemson’s campus.” You can’t make this stuff up.
