Portland Trail Blazers center Meyers Leonard is getting married in August to his fiancée Elle Bielfeldt. With such little time left before the wedding, Leonard had one pressing issue that he needed resolved – a role in the wedding for his beautiful dog Bella.
On Monday, Leonard let it be known that Elle had put forth a challenge to him; get 3,000 retweets and Bella could be in the wedding.
Okay everyone I NEED your HELP!! My fiancée has agreed that if I get 3,000+ Retweets Bella gets to be in our wedding! pic.twitter.com/HTaw2emuzs

Unsurprisingly, Leonard reached his goal in short order. The man has 59,000 followers and when we live in a world where random sports fans can easily get 10,000 retweets for a prom date, getting 3,000 for an adorable wedding dog is a piece of cake. For her part, Elle seemed to realize that setting the goal at 3,000 was ridiculously low for this “challenge.”
@EvanTrilliams @MeyersLeonard11 and he was complaining that I said 3k. I shouldn't haven settled for less than 10k.

Still, it’s hard to find a reason to be opposed to Bella being a part of the wedding. The dog is simply gorgeous.
Bella's in 😊 Hurrayyyyy!!! Question is… Can't we get her to 10k?? https://t.co/jvyAz6x3cu
