On the court, Tim Duncan’s one of the captains of the Spurs. Off the court, Duncan is unsurprisingly a self-appointed chaperon, making sure none of his teammates find any trouble.
In a bid to let off some steam, some of the Spurs — including Duncan and Frenchmen Boris Diaw and Tony Parker — visited a night club only hours after their game 7 loss. Duncan carried the veteran squad in the first round, averaging 17.9 points and 11.1 boards on almost 36 minutes per game. And even after the game ended, Duncan, wearing a tank top and his signature flannel, continued to carry his teammates, dragging a seemingly drunk Aaron Baynes to the Spurs bus.
They may be eliminated from title contention, but it looks like the Spurs are enjoying their early vacation for the first time in a couple years.
