A lot was made of Karl Anthony Towns’s shooting potential after a video was released of him draining three-pointers. And then he shot an airball as his first shot in the NBA. A lot was also made of his defense. Lakers center Tarik Black made sure to properly welcome him to the NBA.
I’m sure Towns will mature into a fine NBA player. But his first couple minutes in an NBA game were a hard dose of reality.
