Craig Sager is an inspiration to everyone, including Stephen Curry.
The Warriors beat the Wizards on Tuesday night to bring their record to an incredible 67-7, but the best highlight came after the game. Curry joined Craig Sager- who recently announced his leukemia is no longer in remission- for a postgame interview and gave him the perfect answer when asked whether or not he could use some rest:
Seeing you and doing what you’re doing, we’ve got no excuses. You’re an inspiration for us to just keep doing what we’re doing, keep fighting, and that’s the mentality we have. And it’s kind of contagious.
Sager, being the amazing professional he is, didn’t even acknowledge himself. He went right on to the next question.
Keep fighting, Craig.
