After Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals, Stephen Curry brought his daughter Riley to the post-game press conference.
However, some reporters who cover the NBA found the whole thing to be a tad objectionable. After all, how in the world can these reporters ask the tough questions when their’s a shield of cuteness right in front of their faces?
My man @WindhorstESPN taking the most unpopular position ever, saying NBA might need to ban kids from podium so reporters can ask questions

The second tweet was made by Brett Friedlander of the Star News Online. He deleted it after a bunch of people criticized him for being a curmudgeon.
To be fair to the reporters who are forced to, like, see a small child, they do have questions that they want to ask and all-too-adorable children like Riley Curry probably do eat into press conference time. However, look at how much press Riley Curry has gotten over the past day. You’re telling me that Riley Curry isn’t as compelling as yet another question on how Steph Curry hit that one shot in the third quarter and how his team’s mindset is heading into the next game? Right.
More adorable children to liven up more tedious press conferences, please.
