The Phoenix Suns have played in their current arena since 1992, back when it was named America West Arena and Charles Barkley was its highest profile resident. In 2006, it switched to US Airways Center, and has been that way ever since. With the upcoming US Air-American Airlines merger, the company decided not to re-up on the deal for exclusive naming rights. Thus, starting in 2015, let the Suns’ arena be forever known as…Talking Stick Resort Arena.
The Phoenix arena’s new name will be Talking Stick Resort Arena. Has been US Airways Center since 2006. Opened as America West Arena in ’92.

In case you couldn’t tell, Talking Stick is a major casino resort in the area. Let’s just hope people call it “The Stick” and nobody ever refers to it by its full name again. Deal? Deal.
