On Friday, the Oklahoma City Thunder unveiled a new alternate uniform that the team will use this coming season.
Dubbed the sunset jersey, the deep rich “not too red and not too orange” uniforms flip the Thunder’s traditional colorway so that the “sunset” is the primary color, while a dark blue is used on the collar, lettering and stripe running down the side of the jersey and shorts.

Compared to the rest of the Thunder’s uniforms, the sunset uniforms are definitely an improvement. Granted, that’s not the highest of bars to hurdle as Oklahoma City has some of the most generic uniforms in the NBA (Nike is already talking with the Thunder about a logo redesign when it takes over NBA apparel in 2017) but at least the bold not-red, not orange pops and the ‘OKC’ lettering is much less cluttered than the Thunder’s other jersey designs.

Oklahoma City says that they will wear the sunset jerseys 18 times in the upcoming season so now is as good a time as any to get yourself used to them.
