As you might already know, the LA Lakers and LA Clippers are the only two teams in the NBA that play at the same arena – Staples Center (for obvious reasons). Makes sense, right? When the Lakers and Clippers play each other, it is an un-official home game for both teams.
Nick Young, who played for the Clippers last season, plays for the Lakers this season. He is upset because the new coach of the Clippers, Doc Rivers, had Staples Center cover up the Lakers 11 championship banners that hang above the upper deck with posters of players on the current roster when they had their last pre-season home game.
Young was quoted as saying ““For real? That’s disrespectful. We got to talk to Doc. He can’t have that. We got to do something about that.”
No way! The Clippers actually want their fans to feel like they’re at a Clippers game, and not a Lakers game?! What outrage!
