If you thought there was something fishy about Mario Chalmers’ awful game last night you’d be on to something. The Miami Heat guard managed to score only two points, missed all nine of his field goal attempts, committed five fouls and had four turnovers in less than 20 minutes against the Washington Wizards at the Verizon Center.
Chalmers took to Twitter to explain his lackluster output:
Never again will I eat arena crab dip before the game. Stomach goin thru it right now
— Mario Chalmers (@mchalmers15) October 16, 2013
Maybe crab dip isn’t the greatest meal to have before you run up and down the court all night and this milky, fishy mixture gets jostled around in your stomach. If I’m facing the Miami Heat this year I’m definitely having room service send Chalmers a heaping bowl of warm and gooey crab dip an hour before game time.
