Guard LaMelo Ball is still hooping in High School with Chino Hills as big brother Lonzo gets ready for NBA duty.
Still, tons of eyes are still on the youngest Ball brother has he makes his own pro ascent. In a recent game, the 15-year-old attempted a huge one-handed throw down and missed by a wide margin.

First of all, kudos to Ball for even attempting this dunk.
When I was 15-years-old, I was happy when I made a damn layup in high school basketball. Ball had the hops to make the dunk, he just didn’t get a good enough angle on it.
For those hammering him for not being able to dunk, you’re wrong. He can.
So, while Lonzo’s NBA Summer League dominance is overshadowed by his choice of shoes and papa LaVar is being told to fuck off by NBA stars, LaMelo is still honing his craft.
Once he’s ready for his one-and-done season at UCLA, it’s safe to assume LaMelo will have grown into his 6’3″ frame. Ball might not have the athleticism to dunk regularly, but give him a couple years and he’ll be pulling off moves, like the one he failed, on the regular. Love the Ball family or not, you have to admit they can hoop.
