New York Knicks forward Kristaps Porzingis has gained acclaim for being such a unique player. Unfortunately, where he isn’t unique is with his pickup techniques.
Like some bolder athletes, Porzingis uses his Instagram to slide into ladies’ direct message inboxes and as far as we’ve seen, he is failing much more than he is succeeding. He has previously tried to seduce Abigail Ratchford, a cover model for publications like Maxim. While his attempt failed, he hasn’t learned too much.
Back in June, Porzingis tried to seduce Ines Nikic, a fellow Croation who was actually 17 years old at the time of his flirting. Well, now that time has passed at that Nikic turned 18 in early June, Porzingis is once again trying his best to get her attention.

First, he tries to get a follow back from her which is a bold move by itself. That is social media 101, you never ask a follow for a follow. You don’t want to come off as desperate. Then after being stonewalled, he continued on and commented on an Instagram story that Nikic sent out to her followers.
Porzingis is getting ready for the NBA season but apparently, he is also trying to find a person to sit courtside and watch him play. While we can’t blame Porzingis for trying, it is time for him to move on.
