It didn’t take long for Kobe Bryant to undergo surgery for his torn rotator cuff and judging by statements from the team and Kobe’s own Instagram, the surgery appears to have gone well.
The Lakers released a statement which confirmed that Kobe had surgery and that he would likely be out for the next nine months.

Kobe also posted a photo of himself post-surgery apparently working on his Kobe Bryant’s Muse documentary on Instagram along with the following caption:

No matter what happens with Kobe’s basketball career moving forward, at least his hashtag game will always on point. #frozenplacemats.
