The New York Knicks are enduring a tough season. As they continue to crawl through one of the worst, if not the worst, seasons in franchise history, even the basketball Gods want to see veteran forward Lou Amundson suffer just a little bit.
While the Knicks received a temporary reprieve from the hideous season with a double overtime win at Detroit on Friday night, Amundson received no such break. Pistons forward Shawne Williams and Amundson were battling for a loose ball along the baseline when Williams hurled the ball toward his opponent, drilling him square in the nuts.
Amundson shook it off like a world champion and continued about his business.
