Kevin Durant, James Harden, Steph Curry and Anthony Davis took a break from Team USA play and got together for a NBA 2K15 panel moderated by Ernie Johnson this week. The group shared personal anecdotes about basketball and their personal lives, none as funny as when Durant recalled the first time he ever met Curry.
When Durant was around 10-years old and playing AAU basketball, he traveled to Charlotte and faced off against Curry’s team. KD remembers seeing Curry and initially thinking he was white – Curry’s father is African American and his mother is African American Croele – before being highly impressed by his offensive skills.
