Classic! Hakeem Olajuwon checks in & scores for #TeamAFRICA on @ESPN with the Dream Shake jumper! #NBAAfricaGame http://t.co/csvEoOBWTZ
— NBA (@NBA) August 1, 2015
The NBA played their first game in Africa (of sorts) on Saturday at Ellis Park in Johannesburg, South Africa. The Africa Game was played to celebrate the game of basketball’s history on the African continent, which includes over 35 NBA players such as Hakeem Olajuwon, Dikembe Mutombo and Manute Bol. During the game, Olajuwon immediately made his presence felt by pulling off the classic Dream Shake on a fadeaway and nailed it with ease. He looks incredible nimble for a guy who hasn’t been in the league for a while.
