Well, we’ll have to quash the rumors of Dwyane Wade leaving Miami for at least one more season (no matter what t-shirt his dad wears).
According to Tim Reynolds of the Associated Press, Wade will be staying with the Heat on a one-year deal that will be worth $20 million.

The $20 million is reportedly what Wade was looking for, even if it’s only for one season. Dwyane had this to say about the deal in a statement:
“It has been an honor and privilege to play with the Miami Heat the past 12 years,” Wade said in a statement first released to AP. “The Heat family and I have shared incredible moments over the years and I look forward to continuing our journey. I am extremely proud of my personal contributions in helping to build the Heat franchise and for bringing three NBA championship wins to our great city.”
Dwyane also posted the following video celebrating his return to the Heat on Thursday shortly after the news broke.
